GemStreet USA show inspires gift-giving ideas

“We like to tell people when they walk through the door to start exploring, get inspired, be dazzled,” says Jane Strieter Smith, who produces these gem and jewelry shows throughout the Midwest.“We bring together fine jewelers, talented artists and knowledgeable collectors who search the world over for the earth's most cherished gems, minerals and fossils—including meteorites from Argentina and amethyst cathedral geodes from Uruguay.”
“Our boutique show features jewelry, beads, gems, fossils, minerals and home décor items that you won’t find at local stores,” says Gail Strieter of The Soaring Crystal, one of the exhibitorsfrom New Hampshire.The Soaring Crystal has a large collection of quartz, amethyst, agate slices, petrified wood, as well as engraved inspirational stones that make adorable stocking stuffers.
You’ll find lots of bling, too, at the three-day show. The latest jewelry trends that incorporate intricate beadwork and wire wrapping will be on display, along with all colors of gemstones and pearls. And if you want to make your own jewelry, you will find an array of beading supplies, tools and educational materials.
